Inspiration, often times described as a burst of wisdom spilled on something or someone. When stained from the spill, creativity pops up behind you and gives you instructions to what to do. Doesn't matter if it is artistic or musical, you just do it. For example, after Miyamoto studied Shadow of the Colossus, he got inspired to design the Giant Robot as the 3rd boss in Super Mario Galaxy.
The source of inspiration can be found in all things both living and dead. Apple tree inspired both Johnny Appleseed and Isaac Newton, then Steve Jobs. To think of it, it is the seed of ideas and future. You may be thinking, homeless people probably don't have any inspiration. Maybe true or not true, but look at Mother Teresa, who won a Nobel Peace Prize for her founded Missionaries of Charity.
I was watching documentary about Issei Sagawa, a Japanese man who studied at Paris and attracted to one white skinned beauty. Spoiler alert, he kills her, then have sex with the corpse and consumes her body(starts with the long legs), piece by piece as days goes by. He wanted to "absorb her energy", well, he did, probably gain a few pounds after that but he inspired Rolling Stones to write a whole entire EP with his name as the title. He also threw away the leftovers in a public park. During the day. Smart guy.
Every night, when I am trying to go into the REM/NREM cycle, I always listen to me iPodno. Shadow of the Colossus would the first album I go to. The music takes me the inspiration land for tomorrow's living. So thank you, Team ICO & Kō Ōtani.
The Universe, Galaxy, 3rd from the sun are full of inspirations. I guess when one star's melody dies, another begins to sing.
